RUNZAS 
4 1/2-5 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. dry yeast
Salt and pepper to taste
Onions to taste
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 lb. hamburger
1 med. head shredded cabbage
Cheese

Mix 1 3/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Heat water, milk and shortening; let cool. Mix with flour mixture. Add eggs; beat well. Add remaining flour.

Brown hamburger, salt, pepper and onions; drain. Add cabbage and 1/2 cup water; cover and simmer until cabbage is cooked. Pinch off piece of dough; roll to desired thickness in a 4x6-inch rectangle. Place slice of cheese and 1/2 cup hamburger mixture in rectangle; seal. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-15 minutes. Brush with butter right from oven.
