GERMAN APPLE CRISP 
Apples (tart)
White sugar
Flour
Brown sugar
Oatmeal
Butter

Mix 8 cups peeled and sliced apples with 2 cups white sugar and 1/4 cup flour. Spread in 9x13 cake pan.

Blend in a separate bowl all these: 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup flour and 1 cup melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until a deep golden brown. May be served with whipped cream or ice cream. It's great warmed up in a microwave and then add topping. Serves 24 or more.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
