SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 lg. can yams, drained
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 stick butter
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

1/2 stick butter, soft
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut

Mix and beat all ingredients except those for the topping. Spread into 8"x9" glass pan. Combine by hand topping ingredients and spread at 300 degrees until topping is light and brown and potato mixture is bubbling at corners of pan, about 30 minutes.
