FROSTED PEANUT BUTTER BARS 
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/3 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

In large bowl, stir together peanut butter and butter until creamy. Gradually beat in sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Sift in flour, baking powder and salt. Spread batter in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Frost.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. creamy peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
2 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Beat together peanut butter and vanilla. Beat in 2 teaspoons milk and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Gradually beat in remaining sugar and milk until smooth and of a spreading consistency. Use to frost cooled peanut butter bars. Cut into 24 pieces.
