1 c. white sugar
Pinch of salt
1 egg
1 c. flour, packed - not sifted
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix together and add 1 large (number 2 1/2) can drained fruit cocktail. Grease 8 x 8 inch pan good. Pour above mixture in pan. Sprinkle top with light brown sugar and nut meats. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
