DELI GREEK-STYLE PITAS | |
1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt 2 tsp vinegar 1/4 tsp dried dill weed 1/2 tsp Splenda or sugar 1 cup thinly sliced cucumber 1/2 of a small red onion, halved and thinly sliced 1/2 cup chopped plum tomatoes 4-6-inch whole wheat pita bread rounds 10 ounces thinly sliced deli turkey In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, vinegar, dill, and sugar. Add cucumber, red onion, and tomato. Toss gently to coat, set aside. Cut pita rounds in half crosswise. Open pita halves to make pockets.
