CHURCH SUPPER CHICKEN 
1 frying chicken, cut up
2 ribs celery, sliced
3 med. carrots, sliced
1 c. raw rice
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
2 c. water
1/4 c. butter

Saute chicken pieces in butter and remove from pan. Saute vegetables in same pan. Mix rice and onion soup mix together in bottom of a baking dish that has been greased. Arrange chicken and vegetables on top of rice. Pour on water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
