Cinnamon Popcorn - Recipe

CINNAMON POPCORN
2 sticks butter 1 c. syrup 2-3 pkgs. red hots (I buy 2 pkgs. of red hots 2 for $1.00, add 3rd pkg. if you really like cinnamon) Bring butter, syrup and red hots to boil. Boil for 5 minutes and pour over 7 quarts (30 cups) of popcorn and stir well. Spread popcorn on cookie sheets and pans. Place in 200 degree oven and stir every 15 minutes for 1 hour. Break into pieces and place in airtight container.

I usually find red hots with the boxed candy or in the baking aisle next to the sprinkles but those are more expensive usually.

Try looking for the red hots down the candy isle of you local grocer or Wal-Mart. You can also try any of the Dollar Stores. If you're really serious about making this recipe and cannot find the red hots locally, you can always order them off the internet. Anyway, I made this recipe this weekend. It's good.
