GERMAN APPLE CAKE | |
Cream 2 cups white sugar and 1 cup butter. Add: 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. nutmeg 2 tsp. cinnamon Add 6 large chopped apples and 1 cup nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. SAUCE: 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. white sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. half and half cream Bring to boil 1 minute. Serve warm over cake. |
