AUTUMN VEGETABLE AU GRATIN 
Wash and slice in medium slices 6 red potatoes. Peel and slice in medium slices, 2 yams, 2 sweet potatoes and 1 small turnip. Add all slices to a large pot of water, boil 40 minutes. Drain. Pour in baking pan. Top with slices of 1 1/2 sticks of butter. Pour in 1/2 pint of cream. Layer on top slices of Velveeta cheese. Top with buttered bread crumbs. (Melt 1 stick butter, add bread crumbs until moist.) Bake in 400 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
