AUNT CLARE'S BUTTER RUM CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
1 c. water
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Mix all ingredients in order. Beat 3 or 4 minutes. Pour into greased and floured bundt cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.

BUTTER RUM GLAZE:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring

Mix butter, sugar and water; boil 1 minute. Remove from heat, add rum flavoring and pour over cake while still hot in the pan. Wait 20 to 30 minutes until soaked up. Turn out on plate.
