CHILI CON CARNE (MILD) 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef (can use half sausage)
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained

Cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper in skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Instead of kidney beans, you can use lima or butter beans. Can also be cooked in crock pot.
