SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. + 2 tbsp. melted butter (heat on low on stove)
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
7 lg. eggs, beat in separate bowl
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2 1/2 c. white Karo syrup, heat until hot
1/2 tbsp. vanilla

Cream the butter and sugar. Add other ingredients. Pour over shell lined with pecans (1 cup per pie). Bake at 350 degrees with covered pie pans for 60 minutes. Spray with Pam on the rims.
