WHOLE WHEAT ROLLS 
1 c. cooked mashed potatoes
1 c. scalded milk
3/4 c. shortening
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Combine above while hot. Cool.

Add 2 packages yeast dissolved in 1 cup warm water.

Add: 2 c. whole wheat flour

Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover, let rise until doubled. Punch down, divide, shape into rolls. Place in greased pans. Cover, let rise until doubled. Bake 375 degrees until brown.

The amount of whole wheat may be increased and white decreased.
