FRENCH APPLE DESSERT 
6 c. pared & sliced apples
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. flour

Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons flour. Place in a greased 8 x 8 inch pan. Blend together remaining ingredients to form crumbs. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes. (Reduce temperature by 25 degrees for glass pan.)
