ALMOND OATMEAL WAFERS 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. dark corn syrup
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. oats
1/2 c. ground almonds
2 -1 oz. squares semi-sweet chocolate

Cream butter, sugar, and corn syrup. Add milk and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Line cookie sheets with foil. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough on sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on the sheet. Melt two 1 ounce squares of chocolate. Drizzle onto cookies.
