CHOCOLATE CHIP PUDDING | |
2 egg yolks 3 tbsp. sugar 2/3 c. milk Pinch of salt 1 tbsp. gelatin 1/4 c. cold water 1 tsp. vanilla 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten 3 tbsp. sugar 1/2 c. coarsely chipped cooking chocolate 1 c. cream, whipped 1. Beat egg yolks and sugar together. Add milk and salt and mix well. Cook in top of a double boiler over simmering water until thick, stirring constantly. 2. Soak gelatin in cold water for five minutes. Add to egg and milk mixture with the vanilla. Stir until gelatin dissolves. Chill until partially set. 3. Add sugar to stiffly beaten egg whites and beat well. 4. Fold egg whites and chocolate chips into gelatin mixture and pour into a serving dish. Chill until firm. Serves 6. |
