MOON CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
6 egg yolks
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. ground nuts

Cream together butter and sugar. Add yolks and cream again. Sift together flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Whip until fluffy 6 egg whites and 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar. Fold into dry mixture, spread on greased 11"x15" pan. Then sprinkle 1 cup ground nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Let cool then sprinkle powdered sugar on top. Cut into squares then cut squares in half to make triangles.
