EIGHT LAYER DINNER 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
2 onions, sliced
1 can (1 lb.) tomatoes, undrained
2 to 3 lg. potatoes, sliced
1 can (1 lb.) green beans
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large casserole layer of meat. Salt and pepper generously. Spread on 1 sliced onion, tomatoes with juice, 1 sliced potato, 1 can green beans with 1/2 liquid drained. Follow with remainder of meat, salt and pepper, 1 sliced onion and 1 sliced potato. Bake for 2 hours. Serve with green salad and French bread. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
