DEVILED DRUMSTICKS 
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. chili powder
4 turkey legs (about 2 1/2 lbs.)
3 tbsp. shortening
1/2 med. onion, sliced
1/3 c. catsup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lemon slice
Dash of cayenne
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Combine flour and chili powder in paper or plastic bag. Add turkey legs, one at a time, and shake to coat. In skillet, brown legs in hot shortening on all sides. In saucepan, combine remaining ingredients, simmering uncovered for 20 minutes. Pour over turkey. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender, basting with sauce.

Makes a delicious sauce to put over cooked rice.
