1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and mix well. Add vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, mix well. Add milk and mix. If cookie dough is sticky. Chill for 10 minutes. Half the dough. Roll out on floured surface. Cut out in your favorite shapes. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
