CHOCOLATE FILLED SNOWBALLS 
1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. chocolate kisses
Powdered sugar

Beat butter, sugar and vanilla until light. Add flour and nuts. Blend well and chill. Then, shape dough around kisses using 1 tablespoon dough for each. Roll into ball. Bake at 375 degrees on ungreased sheet for 12 minutes until set but not brown. Cool slightly. Roll in powdered sugar while warm.
