CHOW MEIN CASSEROLE | |
2 lbs. ground beef 1 c. diced celery 2 onions, diced 2 pkgs. frozen peas and carrots 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 2 cans cream of chicken soup 2 cans water 4 tbsp. soy sauce 1 1/2 c. uncooked rice (quick cooking) 1 pkg. chow mein noodles Fry ground beef, add celery and onion and saute until celery is transparent. Add rest of ingredients except noodles. Place in casserole. Bake, covered, for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Add more water if needed. Cover with noodles and bake 15 minutes longer, uncovered. Recipe can be cut in half. |
