STRAWBERRY CHIFFON CAKE | |
1 pkg. white cake mix 1 pkg. strawberry Jello 3 tbsp. flour 1 c. Wesson oil 4 eggs 1/3 c. strawberry juice or water 3/4 c. crushed strawberries Empty contents of cake mix and Jello into a mixing bowl. Add flour and Wesson oil and mix thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Stir in juice or water and strawberries. Pour into two greased and floured 9" cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 to 25 minutes. ICING: 1 box powdered sugar 1/2 c. crushed strawberries, well drained Add enough soft butter to the sugar and berries to make icing of right consistency to spread over cake layers. |
