LEMON CAKE SQUARES 
2 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar

Blend together and put in greased 10 x 17 inch pan (jelly roll size). Bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

SECOND LAYER:

2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. level flour
2 lemons (juice and grated rind)
4 eggs, slightly beaten

Mix together and pour over baked layer. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. While warm, sift confectioners' sugar over top.
