VEAL OR PORK PARMESAN 
1 lb. veal or pork steak
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can tomato soup
1/2 soup can water
1/4 c. minced onion
1 clove garlic
Dash thyme
4 oz. Jack cheese
Parmesan cheese

Pound meat until it increased 50% in size. Dip in egg then bread crumbs; brown. Pour on soup, water, onion, garlic, thyme. Cook over low heat 45 minutes or until tender. Stir now and them. Top with cheeses. Broil until cheese melts.
