GLORIFIED SAUERKRAUT 
1 sm. can mushrooms, drained
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 lg. can kraut, drained
1 lg. can stewed tomatoes or 1 qt.

Saute first three ingredients in butter. Put kraut and tomatoes in baking dish. Add sauteed ingredients and stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, covered, then 30 minutes, uncovered. Sausage or kielbasa can be added for last 30 minutes. Good reheated. Can serve with mashed potatoes.
