PEAR CAKE 
2 sticks butter
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. pear preserves
1 c. buttermilk

Mix all together. Bake in tube pan for 2 1/2 hours at 250 degrees. Can be baked in mini loaves for 2 hours.
