PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES
1 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 1/4 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. butter, melted
2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 tbsp. additional butter

Sift together flour and salt; set aside. Beat the 1/2 cup butter with sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour and salt just until blended. Stir in syrup until no streaks of white remain. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until center springs back. (Don't overbake.) Cool completely. Mix peanut butter with the 1 tablespoon melted butter. Spread evenly over top of brownies. Melt chocolate with remaining butter. Drizzle chocolate across in lines about 1 inch apart. Draw wooden pick across lines. Let chocolate set before cutting.
