CHOC-O-BAR CAKE 
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. water

Bring butter, shortening, cocoa and water to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar, then beat. Add eggs, milk, soda and vanilla. Beat again and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes in an 11x17 inch pan. (Similar to brownies.)

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped

Bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil. Pour over the powdered sugar and beat. Add vanilla and nuts. Beat until thick enough to spread on the cake.
