1 c. butter
4 c. sugar
4 eggs
8 c. peeled & chopped apples
2 c. chopped nuts
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice

Mix together flour, soda, salt and spices; set aside. Fix apples and nuts. Set aside.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Stir in apple pieces and nuts. Add flour-spice mixture, blend until it's moistened. Divide between 5 loaf pans 7 x 3 inch that has been lightly sprayed with Pam. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pans.
