MAPLE RAISIN CRISPS 
1 c. quick-rolled oats
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. raisins
1/3 c. chopped pecans

Combine oats and brown sugar. Stir in oil, egg and maple flavoring. Sift together dry ingredients. Add and blend well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Makes 3 1/4 dozen cookies.
