BISHOPS BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. chocolate chips
1 c. halved candied cherries
1 c. snipped, pitted dates
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped walnuts
3 eggs
1 c. sugar

Grease well a 10 x 5 inch loaf pan. Line the bottom with waxed paper. In a bowl sift the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the chocolate chips, nuts, and fruit. In a large bowl, beat the eggs. With a spoon gradually beat in the sugar. Fold flour mixture into the egg mixture. Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake 1 1/2 hours or until done. Oven should be preheated to 350 degrees. Cool on wire rack. Makes 1 loaf.
