MARINATED SHRIMP 
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 lb. lg. shrimp, may be cooked in shells, but better if peeled)

Combine all ingredients except shrimp to make marinade; mix well. Place shrimp in shallow dish, cover with marinade and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Place on heavy duty aluminum foil on grill and cook until pink, turning once. May also be broiled in the oven for 5-10 minutes, turning once.
