TEXAS CORNBREAD 
3/4 c. cornmeal
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg

Toss the dry ingredients together until well mixed. Add milk and egg; mix well. Pour into a greased pan or skillet. Bake at 450 degrees until browned on top.
