1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. sour cream

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll thin on sugar and flour board or drop by tablespoons in a sugar and flour mixture. Drop on a cookie sheet, press down lightly on dough. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft.
