GRANNY CAKE 
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple and juice
2 eggs
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix together. Pour into a pan and sprinkle with brown sugar and chopped nuts if desired.

Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan at 350°F for 40 minutes.

Pudding For Topping:

1 stick of butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 cup sugar
13 1/2 oz. box vanilla pudding mix

Heat and stir until thickened. Pour over cake as soon as done.
