2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
20 oz. unsweetened pineapple, crushed

Icing:

1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Pour in greased 9 x 16-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes. Cool 15 minutes.

Mix icing; spread on cake while still warm. When cool, keep in refrigerator.
