APPLE CRUMB PIE 
1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
6 to 8 med. apples, pared, cored and sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
2 tbsp. butter

Bake pie shell as desired. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients, except butter and ingredients for topping. Pour filling into pie shell. Dot with butter.

CRUMB TOPPING:

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. quick-cooking, rolled oats
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

For topping, cut butter into dry ingredients. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in microwave oven on high 11 to 13 minutes or until apples are tender.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
