CANDIED PECANS 
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
2 c. pecan halves

Place butter in 1-quart microwave-safe casserole. Microwave on high 30-45 seconds or until melted. Stir in sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Microwave on high 1 to 2 minutes until sugar is dissolved. Stir in nuts until well coated. Microwave on high power 4 to 5 minutes. Spread on wax paper to cool. Store in tightly sealed container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
