LEMON GLAZED PERSIMMON BARS 
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup persimmon pulp
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup walnuts
1 cup raisins

Glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Combine egg, sugar and oil; mix well. Stir 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice and baking soda into pulp. Combine flour, salt and spices. Add to egg mixture alternately with persimmon mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in walnuts and raisins. Spread in greased and floured oblong pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 5 minutes then spread on glaze.
