MARK'S SILVER DOLLAR FRIES | |
1 med. potato per person Oil, to cover the potatoes Garlic salt Paprika Parsley flakes Onion powder 1 or 2 beers Slice potatoes crosswise into "silver dollars". Heat oil in frying pan. Add sliced potatoes, one layer thick. Sprinkle potatoes with garlic salt, paprika, parsley and onion powder. Cook until medium brown in color, turning slices for even coloring. Remove potatoes for pan and drain on paper towels. Salt to taste. Repeat frying process until all potatoes are done, adding additional oil as needed. The beers are for the cook! The "silver dollars" are usually nibbled on while they are being cooked, so be prepared to slice more potatoes! Serve with burgers. |
