OATMEAL RAISIN SCONES 
2 c. rolled oats
2 c. flour
2 tbsp. (or 3) sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
2/3 c. raisins
1 1/4 c. buttermilk

Set oven to 375 degrees. Bake 25-28 minutes. Grind 1 cup of oats in food processor. Blend all dry ingredients, cut in cold butter. Add rest of ingredients. Knead slightly - 10 turns. Flatten with hand, cut like biscuits. Bake on buttered cookie sheet. Serve hot or cold with butter or jam.
