PIE CRUST | |
1 c. all-purpose flour, unsifted 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar 1/3 c. shortening (NOT butter, butter, lard or oil) 3 tbsp. ice water Mix all dry ingredients, then cut in shortening. Gradually sprinkle in ice water. Form into ball, then shape into thick patty. Wrap in wax paper and refrigerate 20 minutes. Makes a single crust. |
