KAREN'S BRISKET 
1 sm. bottle soy sauce
1 tbsp. liquid smoke
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 can beef consomme soup
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
4 to 5 lb. brisket

Mix ingredients together. Marinate brisket, meat side down, overnight. Bake covered at 300 degrees for 1 hour per pound, basting periodically. Last 1/2 hour uncover and pour 1/2 cup barbecue sauce over it and bake uncovered at 350 degrees, basting periodically.
