TOMATO & PEPPER RELISH 
12 med. onions
10 med. green tomatoes
6 c. green or green & red peppers
4 c. vinegar
6 c. sugar
2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 tbsp. celery seed
1/2 tbsp. mustard seed
1/2 c. salt

Chop onions, tomatoes and peppers. Add salt. Let stand overnight. Drain. Put other ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Add drained vegetables to liquid and bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes, then simmer 10 minutes. Put in airtight jars. No processing necessary.
