KRIS KRINGLES 
1 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 c. confectioners' sugar
Dash of salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. peanuts (dry roasted), chopped
1/2 c. flaked coconut

In medium saucepan, melt chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool to lukewarm. Beat in egg until smooth and glossy. Add confectioners' sugar, salt, and vanilla; mix well. Stir in coconut and nuts. Chill; form into 10 inch long roll. Wrap and chill overnight; slice 1/4 inch thick.
