BRUNCH STRATA | |
1 lb. hot bulk sausage or bacon 6 slices bread 6 slices Swiss cheese 1 c. milk 1 c. half and half (may substitute condensed milk or regular milk) 4 eggs, beaten 1 tsp. onion powder (or chopped onion), mustard, Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. salt, pepper 1/4 tsp. rosemary, thyme, sage, nutmeg, chopped parsley or chopped chives 1. Fry, drain and crumble the sausage. 2. Place the bread in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. 3. Place cheese on top of bread and top with sausage. 4. Combine following ingredients in a mixing bowl: milk, half and half, eggs, and all spices and seasonings. 5. Pour over the sausage. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. |
