NEVER FAIL VINEGAR PIE PASTRY 
4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 egg

Use pastry blender for first 4 ingredients. Add the rest and mix with hand. Cover and chill 2 hours. You can freeze or store in refrigerator any extra you have.
