LAYERED MEXICAN DIP | |
1 can refried beans 2 sm. cans chopped green chilies 1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. chili powder Salt & pepper to taste 2 tsp. chopped cilantro 2 cloves garlic, chopped 1 block Monterey Jack cheese, shredded 1 jar picante sauce 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream Chopped lettuce, tomato & onion 1 sm. can sliced black olives Tortilla chips Guacamole Spread refried beans in bottom of 9"x13" pan. Brown ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic and cilantro; drain. Add chili powder. Spread ground beef over refried beans. Spread green chilies over ground beef followed by picante sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in 350 degree oven until cheese melts. Remove from oven and allow to cool 10 to 15 minutes. Spread sour cream and guacamole on cheese. Cover with remaining chopped lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Sprinkle with sliced black olives. Serve with tortilla chips. |
